Joseph D. James, D.D.S.

Dr. Joe James is a native Texan from Dallas, Texas.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts in zoology from The University of Texas in Austin, Texas in 1970 and continued his education at Baylor College of Dentistry where he received his DDS in 1974.
 
After service on active duty in the U. S. Army for three years, he completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at LSU in 1980.  He then located his private practice in Texarkana, Texas as he joined Dr. Dan Moore as a partner.  For the last thirty years, Dr. James has practiced a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
 
Dr. James is Board Certified in the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.  He also is a member of the American Association, Texas Dental Association, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
 
Dr. James has been a staff member of Christus St. Michael Hospital and Wadley Regional Hospital during his tenure in Texarkana.  He has published articles in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Journal and consistently
participates in continuing education to maintain certification and keep him abreast of current trends in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
